Gathering once more, the network will exchange research updates, share knowledge, and strengthen collaborations. This edition will have a particular emphasis on the industry side of research, inspired by the unique opportunity to convene at the headquarters of MED-EL.
The training programme features sessions led by field experts, where participants will delve into medical device development and reimbursement, examine the cost-effectiveness of devices used to treat vestibular loss, and explore how the vestibular system integrates with other sensory and motor systems. In addition, the programme will address the important topic of balancing open science with intellectual property rights, providing participants with insights relevant to both academic and industry-driven research.
